Kafejo
A forge, brewed in the open. Kafejo is a soft fork of Forgejo with small, additive changes for people who build software together with AI agents.
Close to upstream
No changes to Forgejo's database schema or migrations, so any Kafejo instance can switch back to stock Forgejo. Upstream releases, and security fixes first, are merged promptly.
A person behind every change
Agents may write code, but a person reviews, understands and merges each change, and is accountable for it. That applies to us and to outside contributions alike.
Running on itself
Kafejo's main branch is deployed to this site continuously, so every change is used here before anyone else gets it. (For now this runs stock Forgejo, until Kafejo's first build.)
Kafejo (Esperanto for "café") is not affiliated with Forgejo or Codeberg e.V. Forgejo is free software under the GPLv3+.
